Wat is the best thing?

ok im 10 and i have to get something for my best friend ariel. witch is also 10 but turning 11.... she said anything but a barbie.. my first i dea is a fish or a small pet... thats my first idea what else should i get her besides any doll... help any ideas i only have 1 more night
